I’m not sure if the name is that well chosen, because I tend to associate front row with neck-ache… or maybe american theaters are really big :-)
Anyway, Front Row is one of those cool little apps that is here to stay long: among my friends, most have their computers on most of the time just to play music, and don’t have a TV set because they watch films on the computer too… and most of them are quite computer literate – wait, all of them are, nerds live in herds :-)
Oh, one more thing: the new iMac ships with the Mighty Mouse instead of the basic one… one historical reason forgotten?

Tobias just released Typo 2.5! You can get it from the wiki or on rubyforge. If you want to see what it looks like, Justin wrote a review of the changes with many screenshots of the new admin interface.
I’m quite proud of this because that’s the first time I contribute real stuff to an open-source project — parts of the static caching system — but Scott is probably the one to blame for more than doubling the number of changesets since the last release :-)

It’s official, Mac users can now use their middle finger right-click!
Now I want a slim desktop keyboard — with laptop-like touch.
Update oct. 24: Mighty Mouse is now bundled with both PowerMacs and iMacs.
