TiddlyWiki is a complete wiki contained in one page. All of it.
What would be separate pages in traditional wikis is just a — visible or not — <div> element. With a little Ajax code it could become a nice frontend to a distant wiki database, but that would obviously break the whole-wiki-in-one-page concept. But even if it has some limitations, I find the idea wonderful and nicely implemented.
Also, there is an adaptation for use as a Getting Things Done system.
update: it won't save changes using Safari... (see SafariSupport on Tiddly's home page) duh.
ServerSideWiki
ServerSideWiki is an adaptation of TiddlyWiki with some RubyOnRails+Ajax magic to store the data.
NextAction
NextAction uses the same kind of all-in-one-pageness trickery, but is an application to manage GTD lists... nice.

Jad Zooïd is a jazz-rock trio from Rennes I discovered at the music day 2003, then saw again one year later at the Jazz à la Harpe festival 2004, where they kicked some a**es until late in the nightmorning, as if Médéric Collignon hadn't done so enough just before.
Well it seems they have an album in the works!

High Tone played a damn powerful set last night at the 38th Rock'n Solex festival, transmutating the electronic dub from their albums into raveparty-esque beats!
Too bad we nearly had to fight our way into the concert... hopefully next year's organisation team will remember that only one entry for 4000 people is not enough. For their defense, that was the first time the festival was so big, and the concerts were a big success.
Oh, and the festival is primarily about Solex competitions :-)

Traits -- the ones à la Stéphane Ducasse -- are mixins done the right way. Basically, it's clear what features the trait relies on, and the including entity has control over what gets included or not : features can be dropped or renamed, Eiffel-style.
Traits rock.
So I wanted to (try to) implement traits in ruby, partly for fun, partly because it would be a pretext to submit to the Dynamic Languages Symposium.
And then I just saw ruby traits in the RAA feed and nearly fell from my seat. It certainly needs a more awake look, but in fact it seems it's just an enhanced version of the attr_* macros. phew.

My new server is now configured well enough to replace the old one. Being cornered between PhD and unemployment, I'll try to keep that blog alive longer than the previous ones... we'll see.
Oh, and since I'd like to learn rails in actual practice, I'll probably be tweaking directly this instance of typo. No fun in tweaking things if there is no risk :)

Spent too much night hours tweaking Justin Palmer's Azure CSS for Typo, and now I have my own personalized weblog appearance. Whee.
